A video recently appeared online and instantly went viral. It shows a murky water surface, clearly filmed on a phone, and something strange moving under the surface.
At first, everything seems normal: waves, splashing, the sound of the wind. But then — something long, flexible, and dark glides across the frame. For a second, fins appear… but they’re unusual. Too long. Too smooth. Too unlike any dolphin.
Commenters are divided. Most believe it’s just a pod of dolphins. “Nothing special,” they write. But then someone asked a simple question:
“Have you ever seen a dolphin with fins that long?” — silence followed.

Fans of myths and mysteries became excited. “It could be mermaids!” they write in the comments under the video.
“Mermaids exist! We just never notice them!” One person even claims to have heard a strange song at that moment, as if the wind carried it from the sea…
Skeptics shrug: it’s all fantasy, optical illusion, tricks of light and waves.
But one fact remains undeniable: humanity has explored only about 10% of the ocean.

Maybe they were dolphins – just unusual ones. Or a sea creature unknown to science. Or maybe… the very thing we heard about in childhood fairy tales, but were told not to believe in?
There is still no answer. The video keeps gaining views, and the mystery lives on. And each of us must decide what we believe: science, coincidence — or the secrets hidden in the depths of the ocean.
