My husband bought first-class tickets for himself and his mom, while we flew economy with the kids: I decided to teach him a lesson

I want to share a little story about my husband. He’s a workaholic, always tired. He thinks that his job is the most important thing in life and that it gives him certain privileges. I get it, he works a lot, but being a mom isn’t easy either.

Last month, we were supposed to visit his family for the holidays, it was an opportunity to relax and spend time together. My husband suggested booking the tickets. I didn’t know what was in store for me!

At the airport, while I was dealing with our child and luggage, I decided to ask my husband where our seats were. He was too busy with his phone to give me a clear answer.

Finally, with an awkward smile, he admitted that he managed to buy first-class tickets for himself and his mom, while I stayed in economy with the kids. I couldn’t believe my ears! As they headed to their seats, I already had a little revenge plan brewing in my mind.

When we settled in, I noticed that my husband and his mom were already sipping champagne, while I was struggling to fit my carry-on into the overhead compartment.

Then I remembered that I had his wallet! I had hidden it in my bag when we went through security, and now I was ready to enjoy the show.

Two hours later, while I was enjoying snacks in economy, I noticed my husband desperately searching his pockets, realizing his wallet was missing. I couldn’t suppress my smile when he came to me, desperate, to ask for money.

I pretended to search for money in my bag and offered him only 20 dollars. I also reminded him to ask his mom for help. I really enjoyed this.

So, travelers, remember: if your partner tries to leave you behind, a little justice will make your trip much more enjoyable!
