Mamá de Texas amamanta a su hijo recién nacido en un restaurante, luego un extraño le pide que haga algo que no podrás creer

La lactancia materna es un proceso natural y hermoso que ayuda a crear intimidad y vínculos entre la madre y su bebé.

Alimentar a los bebés cuando y donde tengan hambre es algo por lo que las mamás no deberían sentirse mal, pero lamentablemente, hay personas que les hacen pasar un mal rato porque creen que alimentar a los bebés en público no es apropiado ni aceptable si no usan una tapa.

En 2018, Melanie Dudley, madre de un bebé de 3 meses, estaba en un restaurante con su familia y algunos amigos cuando el pequeño empezó a llorar pidiendo comida. Sin dudarlo, Melanie, que es de Texas, empezó a amamantar a su hijo. Y aunque todos estaban de acuerdo con eso, parecía que un extraño que estaba sentado en la mesa de al lado se sentía incómodo con que esta mamá no estuviera cubierta mientras amamantaba.

Se acercó a Melanie y le pidió que se cubriera. Y bueno, ella hizo precisamente eso, pero de la manera que el extraño esperaba.
“Estaba de vacaciones en Cabo San Lucas con toda mi familia y un señor me pidió que me tapara. Normalmente soy discreta, pero estábamos sentados en la parte trasera del restaurante”, le dijo Melanie a Yahoo.

“Tenía la funda puesta, pero hacía mucho calor. Hacía como 95 grados y mi pequeño bebé estaba sudando”, dijo el texano a HOY.

“Le dije: ‘¿Sabes qué? Estoy de vacaciones, me quitaré esto’”.

Melanie tomó la funda y se la puso en la cabeza, haciendo que todo el restaurante estallara en carcajadas.

“Simplemente me lo puse en la cabeza. No sé por qué. No fue como una pelea lasciva ni nada por el estilo. Esa fue solo mi respuesta. No tenía palabras, así que pensé: mejor me cubriré la cabeza”, explicó la mujer.

Una mujer que fue testigo de todo, Carol Lockwood, tomó una foto de Melanie y la compartió en línea con la leyenda: “¡¡¡Nunca la conocí, pero creo que es IMPRESIONANTE!!! (¡Por favor, comparte! Con permiso, he hecho pública esta publicación. ¡¡¡Estoy harta de que la gente avergüence a las mujeres por amamantar!!!”. En poco tiempo, la foto se compartió 225.000 veces y contando.

Un gran número de personas estuvieron al lado de Melanie y apoyaron lo que ella hizo.
Realmente creemos que amamantar es lo más normal y ninguna mamá debería sentirse avergonzada por darle de comer a su bebé en público.
