My son was ready to marry his soulmate, but a mysterious letter destroyed his dream wedding.
Michael, my son, had always been a romantic at heart. He believed in grand gestures and soulmates, so when he met Sarah during his freshman year of college, he was quick to tell me, “She’s the one, Dad.” Their connection was instant and deep, based on long conversations under the stars, shared dreams of travel, and a mutual love of books.
The proposal was nothing less than a fairy tale. Michael planned a surprise that included a scenic hike ending in a cliffside view of the ocean.
