Bus Accident on Highway 57 Leaves One Dead and InjuredA passenger bus overturned on Highway 57, leaving one dead and one injured on the Hermanas-Sabinas stretch.Early Wednesday morning, a tragic accident occurred on Highway 57, between Hermanas and Sabinas, at kilometer 68. A bus, number 9132, traveling from Ciudad Acuña to Gómez Palacio, Durango, overturned, leaving at least one person dead and several injured, including a minor in critical condition.The bus driver, identified as Alfonso Nava, died at the scene of the accident. Emergency teams, including the Monclova Urban Rescue Group, the Sabinas Red Cross, and the Escobedo Fire Department, quickly mobilized to respond to the emergency and transport the injured to various hospitals.Among the injured was a minor identified as Jairo, who was taken in critical condition to Clinic 7 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Monclova. At least five other people are reported to be injured. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident, while the victims’ families are awaiting further information.Driver Escapes After Vehicle Rolls OverA vehicle ended up with its wheels upside down after colliding with a streetlight and a concrete base. The accident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3rd, where a rollover was reported on the Gómez Palacio-Cuencamé Highway near Raymundo Park in the city of Lerdo, Durango.Municipal Police and Traffic Police officers responded to the scene and found the vehicle without the driver or passengers.
